Dear Kate is an exhibition of the art and life of Catherine Penwarne Mitchell (1847 - 1878). The exhibition highlights the artistic legacy of the Mitchell family - the talents of Catherine Augusta Mitchell, her daughters Catherine Penwarne and Sarah Elizabeth, who lived on Tasmania's east coast in the 1860s.
