While on duty as a Lighthouse Keeper from 1967 to 1989, Allen Levings documented the buildings and environment he worked in, using paint and crafting objects made of wood from his surroundings.
Eddystone Point was Allen and Marlene's favourite place. It was on King Island in 1989 Allen's accident occurred, Marlene then took over and became the first and only woman lighthouse keeper in Australia.
